Will Tablet PC’s Replace Laptops?

When iPad first introduced their tablet PC a lot of people were rather skeptical about it and it didn’t make the news. However, small-scale businesses appreciated the device and started using it more and more.
According to research carried out by business publications companies are gradually replacing laptops with iPads. Out of 2000 companies with a staff of fewer than 500 people, 9% use iPad instead of laptops. Moreover, the number of PC and laptop users has decreased.
In 2010 83% were PC users, now the number has gone down to 79%. The situation with laptops is 65% and 60% accordingly. “Laptops are becoming a thing of the past”, - says Godfrey Phillips, vice-president for business publication studies.
